The majority of hardwood timber used in our Conservatories is Maranti and is produced from estate managed forests with full replanting schemes. This ensures a higher and more uniform standard of timber. Other hardwoods are available such as Sapele and European Oak.
All of our Hardwood Conservatories are totally bespoke to suit your needs and requirements. Our Hardwood Conservatories are built using traditional joinery methods by skilled craftsmen ensuring a quality finish that is second to none. All our Hardwood Conservatories are made here in Britain.
Our Hardwood Conservatories will have received a full three-coat factory finish of a micro porous stain. This will not peel, crack, bubble or blister and will require no maintenance apart from re-staining every 3-5 years depending on the exposure. Brass door and window furniture is included and the opening windows are fully weather stripped and are fitted with stainless steel friction hinges. All the sealed units are 28mm fully toughened safety glass made to comply with the most stringent of British Standards. All the external roof timbers are clad with matching powder-coated aluminium, which means that you will never need to climb onto the roof for maintenance. |
